I recently had the opportunity to operate the Bobcat E50, and I've got a few observations. First off, the power this machine offers for its size is commendable-it really gets the digging done efficiently. The cab design is spacious; even during extended use, I didn't feel cramped. However, while the noise suppression is solid, the auxiliary features, like the eco mode, seemed a tad perplexing to navigate initially. It’s a good choice, but every machine has its quirks.

Using the Bobcat E50 has been a generally positive experience. I appreciate the attention to operator comfort with spacious controls and visibility enhancements. As someone who has operated various excavators, the Bobcat E50 stands out for certain aspects. The control system is responsive, making precise tasks manageable. I've been in the seat on this E50 for a few runs. It's a 5.5t machine with 50hp and it actually pulls like you'd expect for that size. Hydraulics feel strong, the long arm gives solid reach and it digs above its weight most days. Three-stage aux flow is handy - sets you up for a range of attachments. Cab is roomy, noise suppression is good, seat suspension and adjustments make long shifts easier. A/C and radio work well, so you're not cooked on hot sites. I didn't get any price or service breakdown so can't comment there. Overall: good control, comfortable cab, reliable enough for civil work.
